Hi I'm Elizabeth. I was adopted, but I'm not a bastard.
I was abandoned at birth by my married parents. My mother abandoned me because she is a flaming narcissist.
My parents are still married and they found me when I was 15.
It was a closed adoption and I knew nothing about my real family until we met.
The "reunion" started out wonderful but then went sour fast. I tried for 21 years to have a real relationship with my parents, went through hell and back, and then to hell again, and back etc when I finally called it quits last summer.
I have one younger brother and we are very close.
I never use the icky "birth" pre-fix. When I say my mother I mean my mother. Just like normal people.
I'm anti-adoption, pro-abortion, and childfree.
I think abortion saves lives and adoption ruins lives.
I teach math full-time, and attend graduate school part-time.
I'm addicted to traveling to Paris.
That's enough for now.

Hi everyone Long time no see for a few here, I have been off being me... I'm an adoptee, right handed... born in August... and never had a siamese cat... though my sixth sense is pretty good... Me and hubby have managed to stay childfree another year. We are looking forward to me loosing the hardest kilo I will ever loose this year ...donating a kidney to my husband. I am in a unresponsive reunion with my family, so I am now just generally ignoring them, given up hope on my mother (keep ya stinkin secrets ) and my sister though she makes sure I have her contact details at all times (she moves more than I do) she is worse at keeping in touch than I am...and that is saying something! Gabby

Welcome to the forums Gabby! Glad you could join our crazy gang. WOW on the kidney donation, please feel free to use this forum for support for THAT part of your life, too. We can be very understanding...and also a bit irreverent, sometimes our support and understanding gets jumbled by our smilies WELCOME!

Poss Yes it's the latest thing...comes with a guaranteed infection and possible hospital extensions, optional anxiety attacks and additional needle phobia...but you are guaranteed to loose weight quickly and keep it off! should fix the anxiety....
