The movie Made in America is on Cinemax..it was made in 1993 about a black girl who discovers that she was conceived through artificial insemination and that her 'donor father' is a white used car salesman. Please post your reviews about his movie.

I have seen the movie. I love it when Ted Danson accepts her as his daughter even though he turns out not to be. You know, blood doesn
t make a family and all the other propaganda.

I thought it a bit cheesy. It does bring up the issue of anonymous donors and identity, but I don't think the "happy ending" is fair to the people who search all of their lives and are never allowed to know their family due to stupid decisions by the parents that the adoptee had NO control over.

Totally agree..although they did put in the knuckle cracking to make you think she inherited this from him...too bad HOLLYWOOD has to be politically correct or is just out to make big  :hurl:money...they should make a movie about one of these spern donors who father's 100's of kids..then the kids come back to someone in AAC and feel shafted and want to know if they can sue someone......
