Okay, forgive me if I am behind on terminology on the adoption boards.  I have taken a much needed break until my brief stint at Soul of Adoption.  WTF does "ignoring red" mean?

I won't be back to Soul of Adoption because I am being "moderated."  I think the adopters there need to be moderated.  Huh?

when you post and someone else has posted while you were writing yours, it'll give you a warning in red "another post has been posted to this topic blah blah blah" or something. People who choose not to go back and read what that post was just say "ignoring red" in case they said the same thing as the other person and don't want to look silly or like a copycat.

I don't know if we have ignoring red on this forum but it means that other people have posted while you were typing and so it asks you to review the new posts to see if you want to modify YOUR post in response.

If you don't want to modify your post in response to the new posts, you are "ignoring red" because the warning is RED

AHA!!!! IGNORING RED RIGHT NOW!!!!!

IF you are talking to me, I was that mean old antiadoption who pissed off the adopters during a one day tenure there.

And they're still talking about you.
I'm impressed - so few posts - such a big ba-hum-ba.

I think the ratio of adoptees & first mums to adoptive mums is heavily weighted to the latter - so everyone that isn't happy happy happy about adoption generally gets trampled.
Plus the fact that you spoke up after the mass exodus of adoptees.
It was a lose - lose situation I feel.
Sometimes it's just not worth doing it - or you'll just get this.......

 Azn
