Adoptee (some would say adoptee-lite). Born in the USA, shuffled off to England, amum adopted me there so I lost all my Americaness along with my first mum, now back in the USA and married to the love of my life and have a 13.5 month old daughter. I am in semi-reunion. First talked to mum on the phone about a year and a half ago. Now talking to siblings, one of which doesn't want anything to do with me even though she's never met me. First mum has her head up her arse. Amum is a nutter. My dad refuses to take any responsibility for any of it, even though it has EVERYTHING to do with his actions. I am in the middle. In my next life, I want to be a doorknob.
