No kidding!!!! Do eyeballs squirt when you bite into them?

These were just little fish eyes. I don't know if big animal eyes squirt or not. These didn't but they were small. Ya'll are thinking of that scene in Angela's Ashes where Malachi eats the sheep eye huh? That was nasty!

The URL on that says snails because I thought thats what it was when I uploaded the pics. Mason corrected me that it was the fish eye, not the snails. He was right, we ate the snails at a different restaurant.

Actually, never saw it. Nope, just imagining that they kinda pop and squirt just because of what they are. You're a much much much braver woman then me!

They have scorpions on a stick at the street vendors in China. They're crunchy.

All the way through or squishy in the middle?

They also had starfish and seahorses.

Awwwwww, I love seahorses - they're so cute!!!! Can't imagine eating one. Hubby likes lamb - I can't even go there. I do eat calamari though.

I had goat before. I do NOT like it. Lamb is a walk in the park compared to goat.

My mother in law got me to eat it. She was like (hear this with heavy accent) "eet ees tha meet, I do no how you say, Goal? Goal?"  I was like "veal?" "si si!"

No, GOAT.  Bleh.   It was just way to gamey and ripe for me.

I prefer seafood to four-legged food.

I didn't see the Angelas Ashes movie but remember in the book the alcoholic dad eating eggshells, the kids and mom would eat the eggs, he'd eat the shells.

The scorpion I ate was crunchy like it was all shell. It was probably how it was prepared though?
I LOVE lamb. I've never eaten veal though, oddly enough.

I don't think I will eat veal again. Its just force-fed baby calves. Sad.   I like lamb sometimes, like on a shishkebab or gyro.

Tripe DOES sound fishy- like Pike or Striped bass or somethting.

Ugh, Kippa....you know, I have had plenty of tongue in my life. My mom used to give me tongue sandwiches.  It tastes like corned beef.  Geez I am having flashbacks...

I have also had head cheese. You know, that cold cut that is made of sheeps brains? Although I don't remember what it tastes like.  I was probably 6 years old.

Nothing like a good fried calamari if you ask me... what's in a squid casserole?

Head cheese, yes.  Swedes called it "Silta."  Used to love it as a kid (very salty) but then found out it was made from the meat of a pig's head (someone said cheeks & snout but I have no idea, really).  I quit eating THAT ****!

Have eaten ostrich, buffalo, deer, goat, elk - none bad at all (it may depend on the preparation and the sauce).

Oysters - NO.  I do NOT eat bivalves.  No clams, mussels, etc.

I have also eaten rattlesnake.  It does NOT taste "just like chicken."  It isn't awful, but IMO it's NOT good.

Have been presented with and ate most kinds of sushi & sashimi.  Most I love (including eel).  Pass on the octopus and stuff with eyes and raw eggs.

I love Thai food.  And Indian, when curry and yogurt is involved.

No weird stuff that I can think of...

I'll have to ask Leo what human eye tastes like.  LOL

Hmm Sterwie makes me think of when my amum served up sheep brain (not that bad but not on my list of will eat again voluntarily!)....what was she thinking?

I have eaten snails in garlic, which were ok. In Nigeria I ate the local sea snail (which is huge by the way) and it was a lot like tongue...only not as nice (HAHA) the guy who got it for me did warn me though, but thought I would try it as I wasnt allowed out of the hotel by myself to try any local delicacies. Had pepper soup there too, which is made with goat.

I'm not real big oncrawly things to try but most other things I don't mind.
